Project Description: In an effort to stay abreast of the latest technological developments concerning energy use, the Department of Correction is enrolling an electrical engineer in an intensive training course conducted by N.C. State University. The course leads to an energy management diploma.

Action Necessary for Implementation: Identify funds to enroll staff person in the 14-day training program.

Anticipated Environmental Sustainability Benefits: Enhances DOC knowledge of latest technology to monitor and reduce energy use at offices throughout the state.
