Share your stories with Inititiatives
Initiatives is now accepting original abstracts related to the research, development, demonstration, and/or deployment of innovative environmental technologies used for cleanup at DOE sites. We encourage anyone with interesting examples of innovative technologies to share their stories. Abstracts, instead of full-length articles, will allow for faster review of potential topics and facilitate editorial planning. Please do not send full-length articles until requested. Initiatives editors will review the abstracts and will advise one of the following steps:

• Abstract author will be asked to turn the idea into a full-length article and will be supplied with writer’s guidelines.
• Information from the abstract will be used as background for other articles.
• A determination may be made that the abstract is not appropiate for further development or publication at that time.
  

WPI will provide feedback to authors within three weeks of receipt. Abstracts accepted for further development can not be guaranteed a publication date. Authors will be contacted again prior to publication. No renumeration is offered to contributors.

Initiatives reserves the right to edit all manuscripts to meet stylistic and space requirements.
