‘Bicvacunate’: cyclists of all ages will be able to participate in a bike ride along Arequipa Avenue this Sunday 29

On the occasion of commemorating the National Vaccination Day, which is celebrated every May 29, children, young people and adults will be able to participate in the ‘Bicvacunate’, a sports and recreational activity that will be accompanied by artistic shows, contests and, of course, of the application of vaccines.

The sporting event organized by the Ministry of Health (minsa), in coordination with the Municipality of Limaaims to sensitize and educate the population about the importance of being vaccinated to control and eliminate preventable diseases.

The point of departure and arrival will be the washington parklocated in block 5 of Av. Arequipa, in the Cercado de Lima.

Vaccination during the bike ride

Starting at 8:00 am, the health brigades will be installed, offering vaccination against pneumococcus and influenza according to age group. Also against tetanus, whooping cough, measles, mumps, among others.

The activity will be accompanied by artistic and sports shows, and different prizes will be raffled among the participants until 2:00 p.m.
