Los Pantanos de Villa located in Chorrillos, is a special protected natural area since it is the only one that is located in the city of Lima and therefore it fulfills a very important function as a great lung that converts carbon dioxide into oxygen for all its inhabitants. .
Now, in order to promote a coexistence with nature, the municipal authority of this attractive eco-tourism in charge of the Municipality of Lima will carry out a camp for the end of March.
The metropolitan commune affirmed that for the safety of the participants in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the biosafety protocols for the development of the camp.
WHAT DAYS WILL THE CAMP TAKE PLACE?

CAMP PROGRAM
Saturday March 26
- 2:30 pm : Arrival and welcome.
- 3:00 pm : Recognition of facilities and integration dynamics.
- 3:30 pm : Armed with tents
- 4:00 p.m.: Training in bird observation and identification techniques and use of the eBird application (theoretical session).
- 5:30 pm : Boat tour: “Getting to know the Genesis Lagoon”.
- 7:00 p.m.: Dinner.
- 8:30 pm: Interpretive tour in the Traditional circuit “Myths and legends of the wetland”.
Sunday March 27
- 6:00 am : Breakfast.
- 6:30 a.m: Bird watching in the Marvilla circuit.
- 9:00 am: Record of birds observed in the eBird App.
- 10:30 a.m.: Reed fiber craft workshop.
- 11:00 am: Closing of the camp.
RESERVE ENTRANCE TO THE CAMP
