Congressman from Peru Libre presents a motion to summon before the plenary session manufacturers of vaccines against COVID-19

Margot Palacios, congresswoman from Peru Libre, has presented a motion so that, if approved, representatives of the laboratories that have manufactured the vaccines against COVID-19 be summoned before the plenary session of the Legislative Power, so that they can answer questions about their effectiveness. and reveal the contracts signed with the Peruvian State.

Motion 1725 presented on Friday, January 14, asks that Parliament summon the representatives in Peru of the laboratories Sinopharm, Pfizer, BioNtech, AstraZeneca, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, and Janssen.

This, despite the fact that only laboratory vaccines have been administered in Peru Sinopharm, Pfizer and AstraZeneca.

Motion asks to cite vaccine manufacturers in Peru.

The motion proposes that those mentioned answer questions about the authorizations they have obtained to allow the export of vaccines against COVID-19, the incidence of hospitalized patients who have been vaccinated and not vaccinated, and the responsibilities they have assumed regarding possible secondary effects in patients.

It also asks that they be asked about the content of the applied doses and that they inform if they are in an “experimental phase”, something that the legislator asserts in the same document and that has been ruled out, since the World Health Organization (WHO) has approved for use 10 different vaccines, including those applied in Peru, after having passed all its preclinical and clinical experimental phases.

Margot Palacios includes in her questions that the laboratories report on the contracts signed for the sale of vaccines against COVID-19, including prices, manufacturers, payment locations, conditions and guarantees of use.

This, despite the fact that by provision of the Ministry of Health and from past governments (Martín Vizcarra and Francisco Sagasti), contracts are confidential. This reserve model with laboratories has been applied worldwide.

Faced with the third wave of infections by COVID-19 and the advance of the omicron variant in our country, the infectologist of the National Institute of Health (INS), Luis Pampa, explains what the ideal mask is to avoid contagion and how it should be used.

Motion Basics

Among its foundations, the legislator of the Peru Libre caucus ensures that on December 18, 2021, the validity of the conditional vaccination authorization approved by the Congress of the Republic ended. The motion does not mention the conditional authorizations for the application of Sinopharm vaccines throughout 2022 issued through directorial resolutions.

It also refers to the former president of the Constitutional Court Ernesto Álvarez, for having described compulsory vaccination as “illegal” and who also called them “experimental.”

Finally, he mentions former congressman Iro Chagua, who has repeatedly asked for the contents of the vaccines to be revealed, ensuring that the bottles contain “95% graphene oxide.”

It should be noted that the General Directorate of Medicines (Digemid) of the Ministry of Health has published in his web page all the documents that allow verifying the components of the vaccines administered in Peru (Pfizer, Synopharm Y AstraZeneca), where the presence of the component mentioned by the former anti-vaccine legislator can be ruled out.
