COVID-19: husbands with more than 40 years of marriage overcame the disease and were discharged on Valentine’s Day

The spouses Juana Pereyra and Víctor Olivera, who have been married for more than 40 years and have seven children, were discharged from the Villa Panamericana after defeating the coronavirus (COVID-19) on the ‘day of love and friendship’ that is celebrated Today, Monday, February 14.

On this special date, Víctor did not hesitate to offer a few words of love to his life partner, Juana. This is a unique and particular experience because we have been discharged on the same day, and, above all, because it is the Day of Love. Now I will get home and celebrate with her and my children”said Víctor Olivera, 77 years old.

THREE OTHER FAMILIES WERE ALSO DISCHARGED

Dr. Juan Oriundo, director of the Villa Panamericana del Seguro Social de Salud (Essalud), reported that together with this couple tThree more families were also discharged.

They are José Alegre (47), his wife Leonarda Reynalte (41) and their two children Wirco Alegre (12) together with Giusetti Alegre (5), who returned to their homes with great joy.

“We want to thank the Villa for the treatment they have given us and for this surprise with all the dolls. We thought it was very nice. I only have to tell my wife and my children that I love them very much and now we will all return home together”he pointed out.

To these registrations were added that of the spouses Irene Flores (81) and Julián Terán (84), who said goodbye to the Villa with their daughter Nilda García (61). Also, that of the brothers Jesús and Mario Hernández, 58 and 59 years old, respectively.

DISCHARGED IN THE PAN AMERICAN VILLAGE

The specialist explained that since the COVID-19 pandemic began to date, more than 800 families have been hospitalized in the Villa Panamericana. “Currently, we have about 20 families who continue to battle COVID-19 in this isolation center. Very soon, all of them will be discharged. We only ask for patience and a lot of love, especially on this special day for all of us.”, Dr. Oriundo indicated.
