COVID-19: more than 27 million 833 thousand Peruvians have already been vaccinated

The Ministry of Health (minsa) reported that as of Friday, March 4, the number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 with at least one dose it amounts to 27,833,560. Meanwhile, the total number of citizens vaccinated with two doses is 24,661,169, until 6:00 a.m.

So far, Peru has received over 26 million Sinopharm vaccines, more than 41 million from Pfizer and more than 5 million from AstraZeneca. All of these are applied according to the programming by age groups established by the Government after prioritizing health personnel, older adults and members of the National Police, Armed Forces and Firefighters.

Both the Sinopharm, Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines must be given in two doses to vaccinate a person against COVID-19.
