“Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness”: whose voice is heard in the new trailer

Behind the new trailer from “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” which premiered during the Super Bowl, fans were not only able to learn more about Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) in the new installment, but also they got a big surprise. What is it about?

MORE INFORMATION: The detail that many did not notice from the Doctor Strange trailer that means more than it seems

It is worth mentioning that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (Spanish title) takes place after the events of “Spider-Man: No Way Home”. Stephen Strange’s spell has opened the door to the multiverse, and of course there are consequences. However, the trailer released by Marvel seems to confirm that the X-Men arrive at the UCM. It is from the mysterious voice that is heard that fans began to drop some theories.

One of the key moments in the trailer is a voiceover that seems to confirm that Patrick Stewart will appear in the film as Charles Xavier. At least that’s what Marvel fans believe. This occurs when Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) points to Doctor Strange as responsible for what happened and is brought before a court. “We should tell him the truth,” says the voice that seems to be Stewart’s. Is it Professor X who judges the Sorcerer?

Fans are now convinced that Patrick Stewart will be back in his role as Professor X; especially after he said a few months ago that he would have considered his return if Logan had not put a definitive end to the character’s story. At the time, he pointed to some conversations he had with Kevin Feige, and it looks like things are finally coming together.

But the possible return of the iconic actor would not be the only news, as rumors suggest that it would also be possible to see other mutants making cameos in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”. This idea gains even more probability not only because of the trailer, but after what happened in “Spider-Man: No Way Home”, with the return of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker in their respective universes.

Days before the premiere of the new trailer for the Doctor Strange movie, an alleged art showing Charles Xavier on the tape went viral on the Internet. The image shows the Sorcerer being tried by Professor X at the headquarters of The Illuminati in the comics, a secret society made up of Professor X, Strange, Stark, Namor and Black Bolt. Of course, it is a theory that, if it makes sense after what is exposed in the advance, with Marvel it is not known what is true or false. So we can expect when “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” hits theaters on May 6.
