The president of the National Penitentiary Council of the National Penitentiary Institute (INPE), Susana Silva, reported that from this Saturday, December 4, family visits will resume in the prisons of Metropolitan Lima, and in the next few days in the prisons of the rest of the country.
The official specified that entry to the prisons will be upon presentation of the vaccination card with the two respective doses against the coronavirus (COVID-19) and registration.
“It has been established that visits will be allowed, but in a different way than what happened before. Only those who are vaccinated can enter. They have to enter with their respective certificate, for which we have enabled control points for the Minsa vaccination certificate”, He explained.
