The Ministry of Culture of Peruthrough the Directorate of Audiovisual, Phonography and New Media (DAFO), announced that this Thursday, March 3, it will reopen the doors of the Armando Robles Godoy movie theater, located at its headquarters in San Borja.

On this occasion, in a special function, The presentation of the film “La Santa de lo Imposible” by director Marc Wilkins and starring Magaly Solier will take placea projection that is possible thanks to the support and management of the Swiss Embassy in Peru.
The activity will be attended by representatives of the Ministry of Culture, the Swiss Embassy in Peru, cinematographic and audiovisual associations, among other actors and agents linked to the sector. At the end of the projection, A conversation will be held with the presence of the film’s producer, Joël Jent, and one of the protagonists, the actor from Cusco, Adriano Durand.
In this way, the Armando Robles Godoy room, which aims to bring a diversity of national and international film content closer to the public, will reopen its doors after suspending its activities for almost two years, due to health restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, as part of the activities scheduled for the month of March, From this Friday, March 4 to Sunday, March 6, at 6:00 pm, the film exhibition “Creators: women’s looks and voices” will be presented.
This will feature the Peruvian films “Woman of a soldier” by director Patricia Wiesse, “Contactado” by Marité Ugás and “Song without a name” by Melina León. Admission to this event will be free and on a first-come, first-served basis.
