Labor Day: 3 delicious pisco-based cocktails to celebrate the date

Next May 1st is Labor Day and luckily for many it is the weekend. Thus, to celebrate this occasion, we share with you the recipes for three cocktails made from macerated pisco. The Pisco Museum gives us three preparations based on this drink for this day.

Let’s take advantage of the date to wake up the bartender in us and thus surprise our partner, friends or co-workers with a few drinks. The Pisco Museum offers different artisan pisco macerates such as Andean heat (chuchuwasi, fig and orange), chaman (chuchuwasi, fig and orange), among others.

1. Coffee macerated Pisco sour

Ingredients

  • 3.5 oz of macerated Andean heat
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 1 oz of simple syrup
  • 1 oz egg white
  • 3 drops of Angostura bitters

Preparation

  1. In the shaker glass we add the macerate, simple syrup, lemon and egg white, shake energetically for 10 seconds to generate foam, open to add ice (5 cubes), close the shaker again to continue shaking for a few seconds.
  2. With the help of a strainer, serve in a glass, add the drops of Angostura bitters.

2. Chilcano – Shaman

Ingredients

  • 2.5 oz shaman macerate
  • 1 dash of lemon juice
  • 3 drops of Angostura bitters
  • Ginger Ale

Preparation

  1. In a glass we add the macerate, the lemon juice, the drops of Angostura bitters, we add plenty of ice and we complete with Ginger Ale.
  2. Decorate with dehydrated lemon slices.

3. Piteado tea from Andean heat maceration

Ingredients

  • 1.5 ounce of honey
  • 1.5 ounce of macerated Andean heat
  • 1 ounce lemon
  • Cinnamon and clove
  • filter tea
  • Hot water

Preparation

  1. In a cup we add the honey, the macerate, the cinnamon and the cloves.
  2. Vaporize the mixture, add the filter tea and hot water, after a couple of minutes we remove the filter tea and complete with 1 ounce of lemon.
  3. Decorate with a slice of Tahiti lemon.
