The National Superintendency of Migration (Migrations) reported that on Monday, December 27 -decreted a non-working day- he will attend normally in all its headquarters nationwide, to comply with the appointments scheduled on that date regarding the passport issuance process.

Thus, The entity will be able to attend the procedures on issuance of Electronic Passports, delivery of Immigration Card, Temporary Residence Permit Card (CPP) and other services scheduled for that date.
Through a statement published on its Twitter account, Migrations urged the aforementioned users to attend the respective headquarters punctually and responsibly, complying with biosafety protocols to reduce the spread of COVID-19, and the mandatory use of a double mask.

About non-business day
The Government declared the days Friday 24, Monday 27, Friday December 31, 2021 and Monday January 3, 2022 as non-working days, which added to the ordinary holidays, create long weekends conducive to the practice of internal tourism.
In other words, on the occasion of the celebration of Christmas, workers will be able to have the days off 24, 25, 26 and December 27; in the case of New Year, the December 31st, January 1, 2 and 3.

The benefit of non-working days It is aimed at public sector workers, nationwide; however, private sector work centers can benefit from the measure, subject to prior agreement between the employer and the workers.

To process your passport you must meet the following requirements:
- Receipt of payment to the Banco de la Nación for processing rights (S /. 98.5), stating the beneficiary’s DNI number.
- Present the last DNI issued with the respective suffrage certificates. Likewise, you should not have any electoral fine pending payment (To verify if you have an electoral fine, you can enter from here).
- Present the last Passport issued by Migrations.
- Display of the proof of appointment (in digital or printed format).
