A fire alarmed workers and customers of the Tambo minimarket located at block 20 of Próceres de la Independencia avenue, in the district of San Juan de Lurigancho, last Sunday afternoon.
According to América Noticias, six fire units arrived in the area to put out the flames that threatened to spread to neighboring houses.
In the images released, it can be seen that the fire started on the roof of the store. “(It) we have classified code 1, which is a fire in which apparently it was a wooden warehouse on the second floor of Tambo,” explained Andrés Pacheco, Brigadier Roma II.

For his part, the commander of the Fire Department, Giovanni Jacome Velasco, explained that 25 square meters of the 70 m2 of the store were compromised due to the fire. “We are talking about ordinary material, such as wood, paper, cardboard”, He said.
He also confirmed that there were no fatalities or injuries after the fire thanks to the rapid intervention of the men in red. Meanwhile, he mentioned that the causes of the incident are still unknown, although he did not rule out that it was due to a short circuit.
