“Sonic the Hedgehog 2” premieres trailer with reference to Marvel’s Avengers

Sega’s popular blue hedgehog also jumps on the Super Bowl trend with new material from “sonic the hedgehog 2″. But this time, the protagonist is Knuckles, the villain to beat. Let us remember that in the first preview this character was already seen, who is following orders from Dr. Robotnik.

This new material premieres within the framework of the final of the Super Bowl on February 13, but it is only 40 seconds. An extended trailer is expected to be released on the day of the event.

In the trailer we can see Sonic escaping from Knuckles in different scenes, but the one that has attracted the most attention is the reference to Marvel Studios. Let us remember that already in the first film we saw many elements of comedy.

As Knuckles falls out of the sky into the snow, Sonic comments: Oh great. The Winter Soldier!” A reference to Steve Rogers’ best friend who was under control of Hydra.

Tails also has a leading role in this advance. He is seen flying the plane, as usual, to help his partner. You must dodge all the missiles launched by Dr. Robotnik in the anime.
