Vaccination against COVID-19 continues this weekend for children, adolescents and adults

This Saturday, February 26, and tomorrow, Sunday, February 27, special sessions will be held to inoculate all children from 5 to 11 years of age, with or without comorbidities, in first and second doses. In parallel, minors will be inoculated in Metropolitan Lima and Callao, and the population over 18 years of age.

Who can be vaccinated?

For children from 5 to 11 years old

The Ministry of Health reported that girls and boys from 5 to 11 years old, with or without comorbidities, can be inoculated against COVID-19. They must attend with a parent or guardian.

For over 18 years

People over 18 years of age who come to be vaccinated must bring their ID, double mask or a KN95 and optionally with a face shield. Those who attend for their second dose must bring the card received in the first vaccination.

For teens ages 12-17

In the case of minors between 12 and 17 years of age, adolescents must go to be vaccinated in the company of an adult so that they sign the informed consent.

Adults 18 and over can now go to vaccination centers and health establishments for the booster dose inoculation, if more than 3 months have passed since they received their first two vaccines.
